Police Blotter: Pit bulls attack Labrador

GEORGIA -- On June 29 a dog case complaint was filed at a Sewell Road, Rutledge, located after a woman reported that while she was walking her Labrador to her neighbor’s house she turned her back and two Pit Bull dogs attacked her dog.

The woman said she attempted to separate the dogs but failed and her neighbor fired two shots in the air but the attack continued.

The woman then told the neighbor to shoot the dogs.

The Pit Bull dogs’ owner apologized to the woman. The woman said the dogs are normally fenced.
